When we got back to the hotel, we had showers and got ready to go out to dinner. Since we had a large breakfast, we decided to skip lunch and have snacks. I texted Nancy to decline her dinner invitation because we wanted to eat early and go to bed by 8. It was very thoughtful of her to invite us.

Shortly after 3:30, we met the reporter in the lobby.  Clayton Tanner writes for an online news website. He seemed genuinely interested in our story and had a bunch of questions. While we were together, Matt showed Clayton the video and pictures. Later, he sent them to Clayton using Dropbox. Isn't technology amazing?

Clayton told us his priority was to share the story quickly in lieu of dressing it up. Basically, he doesn't spend much time proofreading, but would have the story online ASAP. I completely understand! I love writing, but hate proofreading.

By the time we left for dinner, we were staving. Less than a mile from the hotel, we saw a FireRock Steakhouse. Sounded perfect! Steak and red wine - a great way to celebrate our day. The service was wonderful and our food was delicious.

Since we were planning to go to Mount Rushmore and Devil's Tower on Friday, we went to bed early. However, we made the mistake of turning on the TV. We started watching Jurassic Park IV, but neither of us made it to the end.
