When we woke up on Saturday morning, I made breakfast while Matt was getting a shower. We didn't have much on our schedule.  Matt was headed out to get a hair cut and I was planning to continue writing about our trip to Hawaii. We've been home for a month and I'm still not finished! At some point during the day, my son and his girlfriend were supposed to bring over G2 (my second granddaughter) for a short visit.

About 10 minutes after he left the house, Matt called to say we should go to Orange for the day. It didn't take much to convince me. I texted my son to cancel. Needless to say, he wasn't thrilled because he wanted to celebrate Mother's Day.

On the way to Orange, we drove through a spring storm and thought about turning back. We decided to stay the course and eventually the rain stopped and there were blue skies. When we got to Orange, they were running a Skyvan, the Otter, and a helicopter. Cool! Helicopter jumps!

Over the weekend, I did six jumps - two seven way RW jumps, two four way freefly jumps, and two helicopter jumps!

I loved the helicopter! Can't wait to do more of those! My first jump was with Matt and Brian M. I wish I would have looked at Matt when I exited!

On the second helicopter jump, I was with two other guys. they crawled out first and held on. Cool!

The RW jumps were awesome - thanks to the organizer, Doug Barron. He was happy that our exit worked - look at that big smile!

Of course, freefly jumps are always a blast! I left from the camera step and grabbed Danny's legs.

And now, I am six jumps closer to 1,000 - only 54 left.

On the way home from Orange on Sunday, we picked up some Mother's Day Chinese. Sweet!
