When I got up, my face was throbbing. Matt and I traded texts. Even though they arrived early on Sunday, they still hadn't gotten up in the air because the uppers were strong. After they sent up a load of wind dummies, they decided to give it a shot.

I went to the CVS pharmacy to get my prescription filled. Dang it! They weren't open until 10:00. Fortunately, the pharmacy at the grocery store opened at 9. While I was waiting, I decided to get the ingredients to make one of Matt's favorite dinners  - Spaghetti Pie. I had a good feeling about the day!

The next time I heard from Matt was very exciting! They managed to get 94 out of 95 people together! Check it out! This picture was taken by Brian Festi.

I was so exited for him. They missed getting the record by one second. I was certain they'd get it on the next try.

I spent most of my day watching Netflix and cooking. I was in the middle of making sauce when Matt called to tell me the Skyvan was broken. Oh no! They were trying to get an alternative plane.

At some point, Matt called to say they got the King Air from Virginia Skydiving Center. It was super nice of Jim to send it over so they could try one last time. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

When Matt and Terry got home, I had dinner ready. Terry told us that she had never been on a record attempt that failed. If the weather was better, I am sure we would have gotten it. What a bummer!

After dinner, Matt gave me an email address for "Papa Smurf" and told me to send him an email.

On Saturday night, a friend of ours mentioned to Papa Smurf that we are trying to skydive in every state and he offered to help us get New Hampshire. Sweet!

Even though I didn't get to do the last two jumps, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to participate and hope that we'll get a chance to do it again!
