As usual, I got up early and got my shower first. I cut it short because the water wasn't that hot. I was surprised because last night the shower was a scorcher! Matt got in the shower at 8:00 and I organized our supplies for the day.

Our hotel had a restaurant, but we decided to go to I-Hop for breakfast. As we were leaving the room, I placed the "Pass on Housekeeping" sign on our door. We'd be staying a second night and really felt no need to have the maid come in.

One thing I love about I-Hop - consistency! I ordered scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon and Harvest Nut and Grain Blueberry pancakes. Breakfast was super yummy and my tummy was full. When we left the restaurant, it was 9:30. We went back to the hotel to get our gear.

On the way to our room, I stopped to ask the maid for some towels. "No English," she said. I pointed to the towels and said "Towels?" She said "Ah...towels," and proceeded to put together a stack of towels and then handed them to me. "Here Princess."

WHAT??? She called me princess! I am sure I had a big dumb smile as I was trying not to laugh out loud.

I said "Gracias" and she followed up with "De nada Princess."

On the way down the hall, both Matt and I were holding in the laughter and as soon as we were in the room we let it out. Hilarious! Living in southern Virginia, I get called all sorts of things - sugar, honey, darlin', sweetie, and even baby, but never princess. She just made my day! Hmmm...maybe she knows something I don't know? Maybe I am a princess!!!

We grabbed our gear and left the hotel. Next stop...Skydive El Paso!
